Week 1 of 6- A no-prep lesson that opens a course on the use of nature within art. Gets children outside exploring, and it is perfect for teaching in Fall, Summer or Spring with Grades 1-3! This product contains a 13-slide Teaching PowerPoint that guide students through learning the basics of groupings in nature (flora and fauna), and walks them through exploring the outdoors, taking an interest in the world around them and creating a collage using the objects they find, pens and paper. I was looking online for a booklet-style food diary that looked good, and alas I could not find one! So I spent a couple of minutes putting this together before school this morning. Graphics are by GraphicsPassion, and the font can be downloaded here: https://www.dafont.com/sea-balance.font? I collected the graphics onto the back page so you can play around with them as images if needed. The days can also be reordered to fit your timetable. Hope it’s helpful!

Space: 7-Week Home Learning Project

Hello Fellow Teachers, Here is a space-themed, home learning project that will be used whilst the children are off school. This resource spreads across 7 tasks (could be set weekly or daily) which last for an hour-long each. The tasks include: diary writing non-chronological reports persuasive writing letters product design This task would work great for Lower KS2 (Year 3 and Year 4) and it fits in with the national curriculum expectation for science. I upload my tasks as both an editable .docx / Word document, and as a PDF in case the alignment doesn’t work on your computers. Some of my resources use Primary Penmanship font, which can be downloaded for free from the following link: https://www.dafont.com/kg-primary-penmanship.font If you’re looking for other home-learning projects, here are links to the other resources I’ve put together for my KS2 children.
